The Ministry of Education approves the Muhammad Bin Ham Prize
The Ministry of Education approved the “Muhammad Bin Ham Volunteer Work” award within its school awards, and on the role and importance of the “award” His Excellency Dr. Amna Al-Dahhak Al-Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Activities Sector, affirmed, “The state is interested in volunteering and humanitarian work programs and we are working hard to develop volunteer work to keep pace with the fields that serve society in the future. And it is appropriate for future generations, and with the beginning of 2020 and our preparation for the fiftieth year, we must focus on the paths developed in volunteering, and this is what was emphasized in the award criteria. The award also includes a group of categories that deserve appreciation and interest and that work hard throughout the year to support volunteering programs in the school environment such as volunteer coordinators at the level and school volunteer supervisors The award is concerned with the role of the family through the Parents category. The award awards the scouts of the Emirati School Scouts in the field of volunteering, and it is classified according to the centers obtained by the participants. Dr. Bakhit bin Salem Al-Amri, Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees, thanked Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Muslim bin Ham Al-Amri, the sponsor of the award, for his role in supporting volunteering and his keenness to bring out the award in the best way. Stressing that I am the prize will include in the first season the category of educational institutions in which participation is available to all schools and universities at the country level according to a set of specific criteria that focus on supporting volunteer activities Three material prizes were allocated to the winning institutions.
