The United Nations Organization has adopted the Mohammed Bin Ham Award for Voluntary Work, as one of the global humanitarian initiatives that work to consolidate the culture of volunteerism, community giving and human tolerance in the various sectors of society.
The accreditation came in appreciation of the humanitarian and charitable contributions of the UAE in the world, which over the past years have been at the forefront in providing aid and assistance to various people affected by wars and disasters without differentiation, as well as in appreciation of the efforts of Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Muslim bin Ham Al-Amri, who is one of the prominent figures supporting volunteering Humanitarian locally, regionally and globally. The United Nations emphasized in the accreditation text that “the Mohammed Bin Ham Award for Voluntary Work is one of the most important charitable and humanitarian initiatives that contribute to the consolidation of human social brotherhood and the establishment of concepts of goodness among members of society.”
