Friends of the Environment organized yesterday a “Friends of the Emirates to Clean the Land” campaign, which aims to clean up the land areas of Al Ain and raise the awareness of the community about the importance of preserving land areas that are an integral part of the rich natural environment of the UAE. With the participation of Sheikh Saeed bin Mohammed bin Muslim bin Hamri Al Ameri, Dr. Ibrahim Ali, Chairman of the Friends of the Environment and Vice-President of Networks of Friends of the Gulf Environment, Aounk Volunteer Team and many institutions, bodies and schools and volunteer teams of NGOs in Al Ain in the campaign that Was launched from the site gathered in the area of Alnagp coordinated and supervised by the Friends of the Environment. Dr. Ibrahim Ali, Chairman of Friends of the Environment and Vice-President of the Networks of Friends of the Gulf Environment, said: “The campaign aims at educating the pioneers of righteousness on the importance of preserving the cleanliness of the land environment from harmful waste, increasing environmental awareness, raising the sense of loyalty and belonging to the homeland”
